Who's Behind the Wheel
Hi, I'm Lizzie Lovell, and I'm the primary point of contact at Winery Tours Walla Walla, a family run and educational wine tour operator, where I work alongside an experienced team to make every tour seamless and enjoyable. We're proud to carry on the legacy passed to us by former owners Tracy and John Shiel, continuing the same care, attention to detail, and love for Walla Walla wine that they provided.
I'm a graduate of Washington State University (go Cougs), where I earned my degree in psychology before building my career in the wine industry. I grew up around wine through my family's background in enology and viticulture, but it was working in Walla Walla that truly shaped my interest in the industry. Over the past several years, I've worked in the local wine industry, gaining hands on experience in tasting rooms, working harvest, and with people that make Walla Walla wine what it is today.
What to Expect on a Winery Tours Walla Walla Experience
- Personalized wine tours built around your pace, wine preference, and interests.
- Five hour guided experience visiting three to four wineries in nearby districts.
- Comfortable transportation, with vehicle options based on group size, from an intimate SUV for up to three guests, to Mercedes Sprinter vans for larger groups.
- We handle all the details to include itinerary creation, making reservations, and arranging a picnic lunch if desired.
- Local insight and recommendations on wineries and wines, dining, and special occasions.
